Bouncing Baby Boy

Zach doesn't quite know what to think of his new jumping contraption. His poor little feet barely touch the pillow under him. I TOLD mom he was too small, but she put him in there anyway and he liked it, but he has to grow some more before he can really play with it.

I had a pretty mundane week and have no exciting news to share. Mom is taking off for Chicago tonight. She said she needs a break...whatever that means! I think dad and I will have fun and I think dad is really going to have the most fun getting up to feed Zach at night. Mom is looking forward to her first, full night of sleep in 3 months and an uninterrupted shower at Nicole's house!

I better go take a snooze. Have a great weekend!

Turn off the Smoke Detectors

I didn't know you could put that many candles on a cake! I had to help Dad blow them all out so he didn't get too tired...you know he is 30 now and probably can't handle all that huffing and puffing. Just kidding, Dad! You know I still love you. Mom is just scared because her day is coming and she's probably going to lock herself in her bedroom all day.

I had a great weekend at Grandma D's. I really wanted to plant the corn, but the planter wasn't ready yet, so I got to ride on the tractor and help Grandpa get the field ready. Zach had a fun first visit there as well. He was a good boy and really liked being someplace different.

Mom and I have colds....AGAIN! So we are stuck at home today and had to skip Monday playgroup. I am pretty miserable, so I have plans to take a nice, long nap and veg-out.

Hope you had a lovely weekend!

Sacrebleu!

We've been hacked! Mom just realized it. C'mon Dad, that video is pretty lame. Don't get me wrong -- Zach is cute, but that is definitely not his prime footage. We really do need to buy a new camcorder - sigh!

Well....I was just checking in to say hi and share some new pics, but I am still quite taken aback by the hijacking. Time to change the passwords. Let's see...I had playgroup here yesterday and then we played outside a little later. My weekend was nice, but nothing too exciting to write about. Today is storytime at the library and then school. We are heading to Gma D's this weekend. It is Dad's birthday on Sunday and he is going to see some of his friends and family. I am looking forward to helping farm and baking dad's cake with Grandma.

Zach has been hamming it up a bit more. He was really flirty at playgroup yesterday and now he is starting to "talk" or squeal to get our attention. He is getting to be so much fun! I better go make mom a latte, she had a rough night. Hope you are having a good week and loving the weather!

A new Guy in Town

Your probably expecting little o cute Katherine but not this time.... The stinky girls went to the store and Dad and I hijacked the blog. We were just hanging out in my play gym and I said hey look at me I am cute get the camcorder. Oh yeah that's right Dad left it at the hospital. OK quick grab the next best thing get the digital camera with the cracked LCD. You will have to excuse dad he did try his best and missed the best shots. But hey all my shots are good shots. So check out my first video on the web. Got to run I have a "special" project for Dad.

Doggone Cute

Even I must admit Zach deserves the cuteness trophy for the day. Although, I think we are both pretty cute in our dino jammies. I was teaching him how to do some morning stretches and shake the sleep off.

I tried to keep busy over this week of spring break. Yesterday, we kept mom company on her trip to get the oil changed -- I know how much she *loves* taking both of us somewhere, so I was extra good. Although someone had to alert her that I was sucking on my lollipop with the wrapper still on. All this while Zach is crying and mom is just trying to keep it together. Oh frazzled mom! Your time has finally come to become one of those women you always made fun of!

Today, we went to the library and I picked out some reading material for the weekend. I'll bet you are suprised to hear that most of the books involve dinosaurs and curious little monkeys. No big plans for us this weekend. Just hanging around and spending some time together. Our family time seems to get shorter and shorter these days, so we're taking advantage of it when we can.

Have a great weekend and have fun!
