Four Weeks and Chubby Cheeks

Hi there. Sorry it has been so long, mom has been a busy bee lately. Zach was a little fussy this weekend, so mom and dad spent ALOT of time holding him and rocking him. I had a pretty quiet weekend, which I like. There is nothing I love more than laying around in my jammies and playing all day! Nicole came to visit for a bit on Saturday and that was nice.

Things are going well here. I am super excited for my first visit to the dentist tomorrow. Mom and I checked out a couple dentist books from the library and I feel pretty prepared. I will let you know how it goes.

Zach is doing well and turned 4 weeks old today. He really loves to hang out in my playroom and watch me play while he reclines in the bouncy seat. I like to play music for him and I tried to give him my bumble bee rattle instrument, but he wasn't too interested in it just yet.

Our basement is almost done. The carpet comes next week and then I can move ALL my toys down there, wahoo! It looks really nice and mom will post some pictures next week.

Nana Vicki and Papa are coming Saturday for the day, so I am very excited for that. See you soon!

Say Uncle!

On Saturday, mom took me out to lunch and I made a wish in the fountain at the restaurant. I wished for ALL my family to come see me and lucky for me, it started to come true! I had a double-dose of uncles these past few days. On Saturday, Uncle D came to visit with Amy and Jazmine. Unfortunately, the roads here were pretty bad and they didn't get here until late afternoon. They had to leave that night, so we had a quick dinner and showed them the house before they left. Then today, Uncle Adam came to visit on his way back to Tennesee. He stopped by for a few hours and got to meet Zach. Uncle Adam is still stationed at Ft Campbell, but he is going to North Carolina in April to try out for the Special Forces.

Zach is doing well. As of last week, he had gained 10 ounces and was up to 6lbs 14oz. He is getting a little more particular in his old age and really speaks up when he doesn't like what is going on. I love to help give him baths and get the burps out.

I am excited for school tomorrow...we are finally having our Valentine's Day party after the snowstorm cancelled the one last week. Other than that, it should be business as usual this week!

Have a good one

Showin Some Love

Hi there. Sorry this V-Day post is so late, but it took until late this evening until there was a time where both Zach and I were awake and home at the same time to get a photo together. I had a busy few days. Nana Vicki was here to help out. We were all snowed in yesterday though. Today, she took me to Gymnastics and then McDonalds, oh boy! Between her and my gym pals, I got nearly as much candy as Halloween! Later, mom and I made chocolate peanut butter cupcakes for Dad and red ones for me. Zach is doing well and goes back to the doctor tomorrow to get weighed...as long as it does not snow again. Mom is a little nervous about taking us both out for the first time, but I think it will be ok and I will try to be a big helper. Not much else new. I think some family may be coming to visit for the weekend, but not sure exactly who just yet. I hope you had a very nice Valentines Day.

Lates...

Well, I guess I can share...

I suppose it would be silly to make Zach get his own blog, so we can share for now, as long as I still get top billing. So don't forget who's blog this is! I have had a very special week. I had my dad around for 3 days and we spent lots of fun time together. Then, Grandma D came for 2 days to visit. We made cookies, watched movies and colored a lot. Grandpa D joined us last night and they are leaving today. And as if that wasn't enough, Nana Vicki is coming back Monday for 3 days. Wow! I don't know what I am going to do when all these people leave and it is just the 4 of us! Mom sure appreciates the help. Baby Zach takes a lot of time and work. I am pretty happy he is around. He doesn't bug me too much, but then again, he really doesn't play much either. So I come around and say hi to him now and then, but otherwise he knows to let me do my thing. He is doing very well. He's a pretty easy baby, but then again, so was I! I better get back to playing. Have a great weekend!

Welcome Home, Little Guy

Hi there. I was very excited to bring Zach home last night. We had to run a few errands and I kept asking WHEN would we get to take him home! I showed him around and gave him a tour of the place. He was pretty tired and slept quite a bit. Today, we are going to stay home and keep warm! Tomorrow, we have to go back to the hospital and get his jaundice level rechecked. He is a very happy baby and sleeps a lot and eats every three hours. He hates getting his diaper or clothes changed though and he likes to stay swaddled in his blankets. HERE are the photos they took on the day we left. HERE are some photos we took since Tuesday. Mom is doing well and trying to rest now that Dad is here to help her out. The hospital was very busy and very noisy and mom is happy to be home to get rest. See you later!
