Going into Early Retirement

Allo Mates!

Well, my three-countries-in-a-week-whirlwind-tour is finally over. I need to go into a deep relaxation state...so that's why we're going to the Beach for a week to chill out before all this move stuff gets too crazy for us! But not until the 10th...Daddy is trying to burn all his vacay days before we move back.

I had a pretty good time in London. It was darn cold and mommy forgot my jacket, so I got a cool new one from the Aquarium. I went back to school today and had fun. I missed all my teachers and they missed me too. I have lots of playing and getting into trouble to catch up...better get to work! Mommy put the London pics on the website and some other stuff too.

Cheers, blimey and all that jazz

What's up peeps? I am officially doing the scene in London. We had a jam packed day today full of bus rides, cool weather and sightseeing. Haven't seen the queen yet, but I will keep my eyes peeled. Can't post pics for now since we are in an internet cafe, but we will be back Tuesday. Mom and Dad are having fun too...and it always helps that I am SUCH a good girl!

Cheers for now!

My French Attitude is BACK!

Hi! I am back...my body isn't quite adjusted yet and I'm still waking up at night, but other than that, I'm feeling pretty good. We got back Sunday night. Our flights went fine and we were so happy to see Daddy. I am resting this week and we are getting ready for our trip to London on Saturday. We'll go for 3 days and hopefully the weather will be nice. We are glad to be back, but mommy sure is missing the new house. At least this way we have lots of time to plan for it, and we have a busy 2 months coming up to help pass the time. See you later! ~Katherine

Gettin' me an education

I had a very fun day yesterday and boy did I deserve it since mommy has been hauling me around for days and days. First, we went to see cousin Tara at her school. We had school lunch with her and then I got to sit in on her first grade art class. They were working on a fish project and they were all very nice to me and let me participate. Then, my Aunt Corrie and cousins Katie and Ashley came to Monroe and we went....BOWLING! It was so much fun. I had the complete look going on with my bowling shirt and they even had little shoes to fit me. I had my first strike ever and was very excited. Afterwards, we went for ice cream at Culvers. It was a great day! Today, mommy, nana & I go to finish up stuff with our NEW house! Then we fly out Saturday. Wow, where did the time go? Ciao for now!

Here I am!

Wow, it has been a caaarazy week. Last week, we got here and spent two days in Monroe just catching up and resting. Last Wednesday, the fun began. Mommy went house-hunting while I stayed with Leah. We had so much fun and I am so sad that she is moving to Minnesota! Then, on Friday, we drove UP to Grandma D's house and spent the weekend there. Daddy flew in Friday night and surprised everyone (except us, of course). I had a great weekend playing with my cousins and playing on the farm. I even got to ride in the tractor with Uncle D for awhile. Then on Monday, we went BACK so Daddy could look at homes. After a lot of thinking, we chose one that is just right for us. Mom & Dad did the paperwork on Tuesday and then we drove BACK to Wisconsin where we are now. Dad stays here until Sunday. Mom and I have to go back to close on the house. It is all happening VERY fast! We are busy, but hopefully the next couple days will be relaxing for us all. Hope everyone is well! ~katherine.
