My first Circus!!

Wow-oh-wow! Last night we went to a really cool circus in Uriage. It had a big top tent and everything! I saw funny actors, juggles, tightrope walkers and best of all, animals! I saw camels, horses, elephants and 11 white tigers! My mom did not like being only 15 feet away from the tigers with nothing but a thin fence between them and us. Those tigers were huge and scary! The lady that stood in the cage with them sure was brave. I really liked the elephants the best. It was mommy's first circus, too, so she had lots of fun. I even saw a few of my friends there! I am very happy we went.

Beach Fun

Hi! My mom and I had a really fun morning. We drove up to Lac Laffrey which is about half an hour from here. It is a beautiful lake in the mountains. My ears popped the whole way there! I had loads of fun playing in the rocks....that's right....rocks! No sandy beaches here in France! I also said a new word: "boobies"! I saw a few women who forgot to put their tops on, so I figured I should tell them so. My mommy always remembers to put her top on, what a good mommy! Too bad those ladies didn't understand me, because they kept their tops off! Oh well, I hope they don't get a sunburn! Anyhow, it was nice to wade in the water and throw rocks. I hope next time we stay longer and I can maybe bring a friend. A bientot! --Katherine

Cheesy smile

Hi. Hope everyone had a good weekend. I stayed home with my mom and dad all weekend. We played and swam outside in the pool. Here I am giving my "cheese" smile. I can't quite reach the pedals on the bike yet, but I try. My mom and dad push me around for now. I am learning to sing Old MacDonald and my ABC's. That L-M-N-O-P part really trips me up! Fun in the sun

I had a really nice playdate today with my friend Addison . We went to her house and played on her new, ginormous swingset and played in the pool. Her mom made us lunch and then we played some MORE!! It was a good day. Later that night, we went to my friends' Gabi and Ben's for dinner. My mom was happy she didn't have to cook at all that day. I stayed up really late and slept-in the next morning. I am so lucky to have so many buddies here. -7/22

Sharing and Cheese

Today, my mom and I went to the fromagerie with Gabi and Ben. The lady was really nice and let me taste all the different cheeses. We left with some milk, yoghurt and cheese all fresh from the farm. Later, Ben came over and we had lots of fun. I am getting better at sharing my toys with Ben. Ben lets me have whatever I want and I know all I have to do is pretend to cry to get my toys back. My mommy says I need to work on my sharing. I try, but it is hard! You wouldn't know Ben is two months younger than me...he is so big and tall!

My First Pony (ponytail, that is)

Today my mom said it was time to do something with my crazy hair, so she said she was going to put it in a pony tail. And here I thought she was getting me a pony! I think I look supercute! I just need to get my hair a little longer to keep it in all day.

My mom decided it was time I keep up with the latest web trends and get my own baby blog. I'm not sure what a "blog" is, but she said it will be fun (I think she just has too much time on her hands!). She'll put recent pictures of me here and tell some of my latest stories as well.
