Laughter is the Same in any Language
Hi. Things are really busy around Grenoble. The local kids are off on their two-week school vacation. They get one every 6 weeks, but go to school until July and start back in late August. Our road is busy with people going skiing. The stores, parks and everywhere is full of kids! It was a nice sunny day today, so we went to the park. I rode the carousel, played on the toys and for the first time, mommy and I tried the push-pedal horse carriages that we can take around the park. I rode up on top of the horse while she did all the work. There were some really nice French girls on the playground. We had so much fun playing and laughing together. Mommy was so surprised to hear me use French for the first time without being asked. I told them "vite" for faster on the merry-go-round and "arret" for stop when I was done. I also said "viens friends" which was franglish for "come here friends". Mommy didn't know I could do that! Goes to show you don't have to speak the same language to get along. Now if only the rest of the world could figure out what a two-year old learned on the playground. Of course, mommy forgot her camera, so here are some random pictures from this week. Have a good one!
